Meetings

So Mondays have turned into our meeting days... our meetings as a Libreville team - Business Agent for Bongolo Hospital, Air Calvary, Hospital Guesthouse, and Envision. These are all the people that live in Libreville and we often have to work as a team to get things done here. It really helps at the beginning of the week to go over what is happening that week to make sure we get it all covered and that everybody is on the same page.

We have also started doing our Envision meetings on Mondays as well... get the meetings over with at the beginning of the week!

I'm famous!

How many of you can say that you've had a shoe named after you??? I just got an email from my mom announcing the news! UGG has named one of their shoes "Leanne" - yep that's me! Pretty stylish too, don't you think?

Airport Stats

Here stand Alicia, Dan, and Hannah waiting for a team to come in… so far our airport statistics have not been so good. Both of the teams we’ve had were delayed coming into the country. The first was almost put on the plane to leave that night! And because of that episode they had trouble getting out of the country – they thought they had already left. So thus far we are only 25% for a successful airport visit.

Newest Fashion

Glasses made by Joseph, I’m sure they will be the next thing to hit New York and Paris so I would advise coming to Libreville and get yours at a discount price – while there is still time! It is really amazing how he makes these out of a few plastic lenses, a piece of wire, and small wooden jig.

I apologize

Really though... did you expect me to keep up with my blog? Now that you really think about it... did you really think I would write every week? Ok, so I'm not the greatest and I think I have figured out that maybe I'll do a picture and a little tagline or something. But if you want more details and someone who can actually write - check out Hannah's blog. It is the iheartgabon blog listed over on the right hand side.
Just as an intro Hannah is my partner in crime over here in Libreville for the next year!

Hope House

Picture taken by the CMA film crew that was here to take pictures and video at Bongolo and here in Libreville at the Hope House. The picture is me explaining why I’m not wearing the bracelet that they made for me. In the background Sabrina is doing the laundry and to the right one of the new fellas is doing the dishes. The film crew wanted to get some pictures of them in "everyday life" circumstances.
Hannah and I were thanking God the other day for our modern conveniences - and the time that it frees up for us to spend ministering.
